Traditionally yoga was developed as a non-commercial practice. But, these days yoga has become a lucrative business. Some yoga practitioners work very professionally and it is fine too from the business point of view. But it is important that yoga practitioners adhere to yoga business ethic.

Yoga practitioners should use marketing techniques to promote their business, but at the same time they should not follow any unethical practice. They must pursue yoga business ethics and always keep in mind the guidelines for proper conduct.

If you are a yoga studio owner then you must examine below-mentioned low cost ideas, which are based on business as well as moral rules.

You should provide higher personalized service to your yoga students. Keep in mind that teaching yoga to students is a very rewarding act. It is just like you give the gift of wellness to your students as you teach them yoga techniques. When you teach them you should emphasize the benefits of every asana being taught. And also tell them about the need for regularity of the practice of the asanas.

Learn the names of your students and suggest personalized adjustments so that they practice the asanas properly. Another way to make your students feel good is- serve them Ayurvedic tea after classes. You can even give the students a free class on their birthday.

You should hold special events on a regular basis to improve the asanas and also reward consistent students.

Accept credit cards so that students can make their payments with ease. This practice will not cost you a fortune but will satisfy the needs of many students. You should choose the appropriate furniture for your yoga studio, which is not made of rare wood. It is a good idea to clean the studio's floor and mats with non-toxic products. You must implement a few measures to conserve electricity and power.

To carry on your yoga business more professionally you should provide students with free newsletter carrying information about the yoga and your studio. Electronic newsletters are a great way to attract more students. Also these newsletters keep the students informed about teacher profiles, asanas, schedule updates, and the like. They also serve as a good reminder for the students to attend their classes on regularly.

You should provide free or discounted classes for special populations, such as children from a low income group, during off hours. This is a good service and it does not cost much; rather it grows your studio's aura. Also, it is ethical and mandatory that you emphasize on safety of the students. Make sure that all your yoga instructors are properly trained. And you should not make your students do over exertion.

Thus, yoga practitioners can promote their business effectively while upholding strong ethics. None of the activities listed above are unethical and yet they all show that you care for your students. So practice the yoga business ethic and you will soon get a good reward for it.
